Only 25% of them achieve this. >> 90% want learning technologies to help them Global e-learning is a $91 billion industry. –IBIS Capital Android Ties iPads in Tablet Consumer Market Share Today, 34% of U.S. consumers own a tablet, a climb of 9 points over the last 9 months, reports Pew Internet study. Surprisingly, Android tablets were in use by 59% of tabletowning households in 2013 according to Magid Associates Research. 44% of Web users in Magid's survey reported having a tablet in their home this year — a 47% increase over penetration levels seen in 2012. Who are buying them? Tablet ownership among Hispanics made a big leap, with penetration rates rising from 20% in August 2012 to 34% by May 2013. Those with incomes below $30,000 saw penetration double in the same time period, from 10% to 20%. Today, 75% of executives use collaboration tools daily, with the highest adoption rates across sales, markting, IT, customer support, operations and R&D.; 82% said "improving teamwork" and time savings were the greatest benefts to collaboration. Despite the proliferation of tools, less than 50% were satisfed with their collaboration tools. Ease of use is valued 2:1 over additional functionality.
