IBIS Capital, an investment group in the United Kingdom, has shared their research on Global E-learning (pg 28). IBIS estimates the Corporate Global Learning market is $200 billion strong, and that mobile learning will reach $38 billion by 2020. McKinsey & Company closes the Fact Book with research on "Te Business Value of Social Technologies" (pg 38). Is there $1.3 trillion dollars waiting to be tapped in your industry? MORE GOOD NEWS AND SOME BAD. Te good news is that e-learning and learning technology investments are growing. Strong investments are being made in enabling technologies like learning and talent management systems, social collaboration and mobile, video and virtual learning. Te bad news is these new technologies are transforming learning and we are only at the beginning of this exciting evolution.
